The Return of Da Ecchi Stars

After a long hiatus for almost 2 years, Da Ecchi Stars is officially back! The true spirit of ecchi stars remain in those who have never forsaken this family. Kudos to those who hang on till this day for the family to be active again!

6 months ago, I posted a depressing post saying that I had decided to quit the virtual world. However, my heart has never left those who have already left footprints in my heart... After much thoughts, I have decided not to let one big rotten apple and a few roaches to affect my love for the fam. Therefore, I have decided to make a come back!

In case you are reading this, those who had forsaken the fam, and those who had wrongly accused me or even took my kindness for granted, the WinterFairy now is different from the WinterFairy back then. I remember there were these ex-members from the fam accused I had changed and became a different person. Back then, I was still the same WinterFairy. I realised that being kind and forgiving to others ended up hurting myself. This time, things have changed.

WinterFairy has evolved. I will not tolerate members to come and go as they wish. I will not easily and simply accept ex-members just when they feel like coming back. This fam is not a fair weather family only. Members should not just join the fam during fair weather days, and leave the fam when there is a rainstorm. Such members are not needed in Da Ecchi Stars. I couldn't care less for those who are reading this and cursing at me right now. If you can't accept the hard truth, I can only say that you are still very self-centred and don't think that the world revolves around you and only to what you like and want. Grow up and get a life!

I cannot promise that I will be playing almost 24/7 like I did in the past. But I will make an effort to login at least an hour a day, unless otherwise. I have been logging in and buying channels for the past 1 week. I'm doing this is only because for those who have stayed strong and loyal to the fam since the day they joined till now. That few have never left the fam despite it being inactive. Their genuine love for the fam is something that pushes me to stay on, and continue to login to run this family and blog.

We have created a Facebook account for Da Ecchi Stars. For those who like to follow what's going on in the fam, and what's going on in my life, you can add us @ecchis@hotmail.com. Ex-members who wish to join the fam again, we will decide based on your attitude and sincerity. If you will eventually leave the fam again, don't waste our time and your time.

Goodbye Virtual World

After been through so many things online, I have decided that it is time for me to say goodbye to virtual reality. WinterFairy will be a history to AuditionPH from today onwards.

WinterFairy is just an avatar of me in virtual reality. The person behind the avatar is here if you need me. Those who are dear to me know where to contact me. I'm never far from you if you need me my dear friends.

Those times I spent online, are bitter sweet memories to me. I will never forget how we used to joke and laughed together, those sleepless nights chasing FP together and the times we got into misunderstanding and cried our hearts out over silly matters.

Also, I am leaving behind the legend of WinterSaint and WinterFairy. Sadly, the couple ring is no longer there. If you were to ask me do I feel sad over it? My answer is, yes. Our love story wasn't a smooth one right from the start even till the very end. Perhaps it is meant to be this way. WinterFairy existed and had stayed on so long in AuditionPH was all because of WinterSaint. He will be the only love WinterFairy has. Though he had brought her heartache and tears, she will never forget that they were once deeply in love.

Saying goodbye is never easy. It breaks my heart to leave for I have sincerely give my heart to all of you, especially you. However, the betrayals and lies are something I can no longer withstand and hence this decision. By doing so, I will be able to move on with my life and forget about that someone who had broke my heart. He may have thought that I no longer care or love him, but till today I still do.

This blog will be a passage for me to continue talking to all of you. Forget me not for all of you have already imprinted in my heart forever...

Ecchi Spirit Forever!

Last week, I received a text from WinterSaint and found out that our fam got hacked! How could this be happening to us? All these years our fam was safe till I handover the fam to someone in the fam temporarily.

The guy claimed that his account was hacked and it had nothing to do with him. I took his words and gave him a benefit of doubt. It had happened and I had no wish to push the blame to anyone else but myself. This wouldn't have happened if I had never entrusted the fam to someone else.

I was appalled by the law in Philippines, unless I was mis-informed by my members. It is known that hacking is a crime, plus extorting for a sum of money. Cyber theft plus extortion is enough to put one into jail. Yet these hackers who hacked and extorted money from us in order to give us back our fam are still out there roaming around freely and perhaps now are busily aiming their next victim. No wonder more and more Filipinos are leaving the country for a better living. The law does not protect the citizens from the unlawful ones. Just the other day I was buying something from this pharmacy, a sales started a conversation with me. She comes from Philippines and is currently working in Singapore. Her brother and his family are already a permanent resident and she too, is hoping that she can get her PR here. She told me that Philippines is not a safe country, and many people are jobless. She does not want to go back to Philippines and hope that her family members can join her here one day. She also told me that she will never be out on the street after 8pm in the Philippines. Unlike here, she feels safe even if she is to go home late at night.

Through this incident, I saw the loyalty of the old members. The kids were especially concerned and worried over what had happened to our fam. Though the fam is now inactive due to everyone is busy with their own lives, but that doesn't mean we forget that we are ecchi stars. The members were asking what next and so on when our fam was hacked. They did not abandon this sinking ship.

Due to my poor judgement on people, our fam was hacked and I had caused grieve to my members. I am sorry dear members. In order not to risk being hacked again, the fam is now passed on to Mimi as fam master on temporarily basis. I will take back the ownership once I can online again. Members who are reading this now, kindly apply back to the fam.

I would like to thank 3 persons for helping us to get back the fam; AJ, Kyon and especially to WinterSaint.

At the end of the day, what matter is, we Da Ecchi Stars spirit will go on and on even if all of us eventually quit this game. Our story may be ending in Audition, but a brand new chapter is waiting for us in the real world - eternal friendship. I'm still here waiting for you guys to come visit me. Don't forget your promises to me Kyon, WinterSaint, and my bebeh WinterCandy.

A Brand New Chapter

From AuditionSEA to AuditionPH, gave me the chance to meet and befriended many people. This so called online friendship comes and goes like a wind, constantly changing and moving. It won't stop for anyone, not even me.

Online romance is the same. It makes me realise that one should never set his/her sights online, but should look around at the people around you. It doesn't work no matter how much effort you put in. Over time, the person you thought you started to know and understand, turned out to be a different person. Trust is the basic fundamental of everything; be it family, friendship or relationship. The person I put my trust in has never trusted me and I ended up being a jail bird to her own imaginary world of untrust. To me, that is my worst nightmare during my 3 years with Audition. I'm glad I have closed that chapter in my life. At the same time, I have to thank her. If not for her, I won't realise how lucky I am to have the best guy in my life. He is always there for me, forever giving and never complains even when we were at our worst time.

I haven't been online for a month. During this period, it makes me wonder how many family members still feel the same about me. Or that their warmth have turned lukewarm? And there are more months to come that I won't be free for my online friends the day I become a mother, which isn't that far away from now. Will they wait for my return and understand my absence during this period?

I had disappeared from the family for 7 months before. This time, I will not know when I'll be free to be back online and join everyone again. One thing I am sure is that, my feelings for everyone and this family will not change. No matter how busy I am with my life, even if I am not online on game, I'll drop by this website to update everyone on my life and my soon to be added family member. She will be the focus of my life once she joins us in this world. When? I do not know. She is too eager to see the world that I have to take medication to stop her from joining us too soon. Hope she's willing to wait for another 2 weeks at least.

I sincerely wish everyone in the family good health and happiness. I miss each and everyone of you. Out of sight doesn't mean out of mind for my case. Till the day we meet online again, I sincerely hope that our hearts are still bonded together under the same rainbow sky...

Thursday night at 10:55pm and sleepless me, don't really feel like playing Audition tonight. Checking out what's new and what's old on YouTube, decided to share with all of you a few MVs that I like.

The first MV is by Super Junior & SNSD. Those who are fans of these 2 korean groups are in for an eye feast. Second MV is none other than Charice Pempengco, the girl who makes all Filipinos proud. Changing Partners

I knew that my younger sister and her boyfriend, who was in States, had broken up, but I thought maybe they’d get back together.

The signs. She started to have more phone calls from guys. She hardly talked to him on the phone. She wrote him emails, from a daily routine to once a week affair.

One night, Lizzie brought him home, her new boyfriend. She said that when she first met him, she didn’t even like him at all. I thought, Yeah, but I was horny for him.

Alone together at last, I said, “I thought you really loved him.”
“I did,” she said. “Craig’s great.”
“I liked him,” I said.

She nodded. Then she said, “There were too many of differences in value between us.”

It sounded to me like “better course selection”, and I gave her a look to say so, but she pretended not to see and went to join her new boyfriend.

That night, I couldn’t fall asleep. I looked out of the window, only one house had any lights on, and the light was just the blue of a television set.

I tried to understand how Lizzie could give up on someone who loved her so much, whereas I was the one who was given up by the other someone. The whole situation was ironic. She could have gotten what she wants, but she threw it away. I wanted so much to be loved wholeheartedly by my ex-boyfriend, but I wasn’t given that chance. It scares me to think that my sister had failed at loving someone. I had no idea what I should expect from a guy, if I ever fall in love again someday.


*The guy I loved for years, who was my first true love, ended up bailed on me after being together for 3 months. 2 years later we were back together. The irony part is, this time I was the one who took the run... & till today, it's the biggest regrets in my life that I didn't end it in a better way.

Studio Ghibli-animated DS Game - Ni no Kuni

Trailer for Ni no Kuni, the Studio Ghibli-animated DS game from Level-5. The revered studio’s contributions are the main attraction, so that makes up the bulk of this TGS video, but the brief gameplay clips are also exquisite!

Outside of the animation, the game is a traditional JRPG with Dragon Quest-style turn-based combat, except you can project soldiers (nicknamed “Imagine”) from your soul aid you in battles. Seems like they’re just re-interpreted summons, but it’s still kind of a neat idea.

Eden of the East

How's everyone in the family & fellow auditioners? It's been a while so I don't expect many to actually read this. I haven't completely solved all of my real-life issues and my niece has been keeping me busy and some other issues. I don't think I'll be able to go back to blogging week by week like I used to though. I know it's pathetic but I guess I just don't have the same enthusiasm for it due to everything else that's going on in my life.

Anyway, there are 2 persons I wanna wish them happy birthday to. Arlie, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!! Not forgetting my mahal ko, Happy Birthday Mahal!~

I especially like this one because the design is clean and simple and the character design reminds me of Honey and Clover. Akira looks like a Morita clone while Saki is like a younger, less miserable version of Yamada. The background is stunning and I'm impressed with the way Production I.G handled it. I had finished watching this some time back on YouTube. Watch it, and you won't be disappointed in this anime. From what I understand, there will be a movie version of this anime to close up the chapter.

Story - Based on Ep.1

A Japanese girl called Saki visits DC for the first time and want to make a wish by throwing a coin into a fountain located within the White House. One would think that since the US government is nervous about terrorism, a foreigner like Saki would be aware that this is not a good idea. I'm sure that she's been subjected to finger printing and all of the fun immigration things when she first entered that country. But then again, Japan is also all for finger printing and photo taking so maybe being treated like a criminal at the immigration feels natural for her. Anyway, she's quickly scolded by two burly guards who actually speak proper English words. Kudos to the producers for casting people who can actually speak English to play the Americans. Before she can get apprehended, however, pervert Morita-lookalike crosses the street stark nekkid and holding a gun.

In this POV, a man is seen talking to a voice on the phone about how he's disappointed with number 9. Judging from the convo, it seems Morita-lookalike has been programmed to achieve a task but for some reason went berserk and ended up stark naked on the street while holding a gun. After the man left in his car, Morita-lookalike gets a phone call from his expensive-looking mobile. Upon hearing a tone, he gets deactivated from whatever trance he was on. He realizes that he's stark naked and holding a gun. See, most people will throw the gun in haste and go and find a place to hide. But not this guy. He crosses the street waving the gun stark naked. I suppose he can at least he can plea for insanity if he had gotten caught.


The two guards see him, thinks he's dangerous, but then a truck passed by. The guards think fake Morita latched onto the truck so they go after it. As it turns out, he was hiding behind the street pavement. Obviously Saki is nervous when she sees a naked man coming to her with a gun in his hand. However, she decides to be nice to him and teach him some modesty by giving the guy her hat, muffler, and jacket. The two then part and fake Morita calls his mobile and gets the same voice. He wants to know if the voice knows his identity since he can't remember it at all. The voice claims that since his memory has been erased and his next assignment is not available yet, she can't tell who he should be. Awkward. Because of this, fake Morita has no choice but to go back to the home that is pointed on the map in his mobile. Meanwhile, Saki realizes that her passport was inside the jacket she gave to fake Morita.

She spots the guy somehow persuading a businessman to give up his trousers. The biggest mystery is when he enters the apartment and all of a sudden his neighbor can understand what fake Morita is talking about even though he's speaking in Japanese.

Fake Morita enters his room and finds out that he has a lot of firearms and bomb-making materials. Yeah, he's a certified terrorist, all right. He also has a lot of fake passport. I'm disappointed that one of the fake names is not Shinobu Morita. Another item of interest is a picture of him posing against the background of many nekkid guys. Maybe they were about to have annual meeting for Japan Bukkake club? Anyway, Saki knocks on the door, asking if he can return her jacket since it has her passport in it. Fake Morita checks the passport and finds out that her name is Morimi Saki. Elsewhere, the "We want to marry anime characters" group rejoice when they find out that Saki is 20 years old while pedobears everywhere sulk and yell "too old!". Fake Morita feels that he's the same age as Saki so he flips through fake passport to find one that has similar year of birth. And with that he becomes Takizawa Akira.

Meanwhile, a policewoman comes to the apartment to inspect the suspicious couple. Akira, however, throws her off by showing off his massive package, proving that unlike the guy in the pic, he's comparatively well-endowed. Pics or it didn't happen, animators! And oh, this policewoman is definitely an anime fangirl. She can even understand Akira even though this time around his speech is more complicated than the one he used on his neighbor. Anyway, the two then run away from the apartment since Akira has set it on fire. The two go to the airport and they talk about how Japan is no longer self-sufficient anymore. This is why Saki wanted to make a wish, hoping it'll bring some changes. The two then joke around until they witness a news about how there's a missile attack on Japan. It feels weird to see a serious political drama with Honey and Clover characters in it.

Those who have grown curiouser and curiouser about what the offbeat reinventor of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory might conjure up in his version of Alice in Wonderland can feast their eyes on this array of concept art and publicity images, due to hang in movie theaters this week to promote the March 5, 2010, release.

"It has been Burton-ized" is how producer Richard Zanuck describes the director's vision of the Lewis Carroll classic. Many elements are familiar, from the enigmatic Caterpillar (Alan Rickman) to the fierce Jabberwock (Christopher Lee). But none has been presented in this sort of visually surreal fashion.

"We finished shooting in December after only 40 days," Zanuck says. Now the live action is being merged with CG animation and motion-capture creatures, and then transferred into 3-D.

The traditional tale has been freshened with a blast of girl power, courtesy of writer Linda Woolverton (Beauty and the Beast). Alice, 17, attends a party at a Victorian estate only to find she is about to be proposed to in front of hundreds of snooty society types. Off she runs, following a white rabbit into a hole and ending up in Wonderland, a place she visited 10 years before yet doesn't remember.

Among those who welcome her back is the Mad Hatter, a part tailor-made for Johnny Depp as he collaborates with Burton for the seventh time. "This character is off his rocker," Zanuck says.

Aussie actress Mia Wasikowska, 19, best known for HBO's In Treatment, has the coveted title role. "There is something real, honest and sincere about her," Zanuck says. "She's not a typical Hollywood starlet."

There is the usual Burton-esque ghoulishness (Helena Bonham Carter's Red Queen, whose favorite retort is "Off with their heads," has a moat filled with bobbing noggins), but Zanuck assures most kids can handle it. "The book itself is pretty dark," he notes. "This is for little people and people who read it when they were little 50 years ago."

Departures, Best Foreign Firm of the Year. Must Watch!

Yojiro Takita's Departures (Japanese title is Okuribito) won the Oscar for Best Foreign Film this year, and if you watch the movie you'll instantly know why. It is a stunningly raw exploration of death—I went to a screening of it this afternoon, and was blown away by it. It's about a cello player who loses his job, moves back to his hometown, and gets a highly unusual new gig as a corpse dresser-upper.

This movie will make you think about death. It's something many of us are uncomfortable talking about. I volunteer at an AIDS hospice once a week, and the experiences I have there are constantly reshaping my perspective on it, and the way I cope. I think Takita is brave to address death so directly in a movie and also to bring dignity back to the controversial Japanese funeral system.

Masahiro Motoki (aka Mokkun), the now-45 year old former boy band star, does an amazing job in the lead, and Ryoko Hirosue is charming in her role as his wife.
